Registration Fees

 

Regular Prices:

  • Football Registration Fee: $250/player. (Includes most equipment: See Parent Portal/Faqs for included items)
  • Cheerleading Registration Fee: $180/cheerleader. (Includes most equipment: See Parent Portal/Faqs for included items)
    • If your child is not quite of age and you wish for them to participate as a mascott, please inquire with the Cheer Coordinator or Representative for consideration.

**$500 Maximum charge per family**

 

Special Prices:

  • Returning Families. As a thank you to our returning families, we would like to start 2022 by offering a 10% discount to each returning athlete's registration cost  
  • First Responders, Active Duty and Military Veterans. Thank you for all you do! The South Windsor Panthers would like to offer the families of first responders, active duty military and veterans 10% off each of their athletes registration cost. 

10% discount cannot be doubled or combined to any registrant.

**A separate volunteer check of $200 is due by the first practice. Please postdate to 11/1/2022 **

Volunteer checks are cashed at the end of the season in the event the 8 hours of volunteer time isn’t met. Families may choose to "Opt Out" and pay this $200 when completing registration.

Football & Cheer Season

Runs for approximately 4 months: Practices beginning in August and ending the season in Mid-to-late November.

2022 SW Panther Football Teams will have a Soft Cap of 30 Athletes.

A second team may be formed in the event of a sufficient number of waitlisters. This decision will be at the discretion and availability of the SW Panther's resources.

 

Panther Parents, 

Its hard to believe that another SW Football/Cheerleading season is upon us for 2022. The board has been very busy over the past couple of months meeting and planning out what promises to be very exciting and fun season for our youth program. 

The SWP Board Volunteer policy was created to increase and encourage parent volunteerism in our SW Football/Cheer Program. Our goal is to have 100% volunteer participation from our families because without our volunteers, we won't have a successful program for our SW Panther kids! Our Football/Cheer coaches already dedicate a minimum of 100 hours in order to run this program and make it one of the best in the state! With this said, we have established a new policy that will be in effect for this season: 

 

OPTION 1: When you register your son/daughter this eason, you will have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer. We have a list of volunteer positions that we need help with throughout the season. We ask that each family sign up to volunteer a minimum of 8 hours for the season. Of course, you can sign up for more hours as we ALWAYS could use the help. 

OPTION 2: If you wish to OPT OUT of volunteer, the $200.00 volunteer check will be cashed prior to the first game of the season. 

Again, our goal is to have 100% parent volunteer participation in order to run a successful youth program. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Football Mighty Mites Team 2022

 

MIGHTY MIGHTS TEAM:

Beginning in 2021, football registration is now grade based vs age based. 

Eligible Players:

  • Grades: 1st & 2nd

Proof of eligibility requirements:

  • copy of long form birth certificate.
  • copy of most current report card or student schedule with name, school, and grade.
  • signed CTYFL physician form from child's pediatrician. 
  • signed CTYFL registration form.

Max Weight for MIGHTY MIGHTS Team:

  • The maximum weight at game time is 115 lbs. 
    • Player may opt to play up on C team if he/she exceeds this weight limit.
  • If player is over the max weight upon game day weigh in, he/she must sit out.

Weigh Ins:

  • Weight eligibility takes place prior to each game.
